Located at Shenshui Village on the higway from Nanzih to Cishan , the Ren-ai Senior Citizens’ Home was established on March 1, 1972 and affiliated to the Bureau of Social Affairs of Kaohsiung City Government. The Home provides shelter and care to lonely and poor Kaohsiung senior citizens over the age of 60, carrying out service works in terms of boarding, and medical care. Some senior citizens apply for government’s expense.

Situated on a large of 9.7 hectares and surrounded by natural scenery, Home consists of ten wings, including three dining halls, two kitchens, Jng Jheng hall , a Buddhist hall, a Christian chapel, a library and a medical center. With uniform structure, the buildings of the Home are all well-equipped and accessible for the disabled. In addition, there is an can take a strol and refresh themselves. The Home is indeed an ideal place for the elder to spend their old age.
