Since its establishment the Home has give great importance to the care of residents’ daily life directing their efforts to improve residents’ living quality. In addition and transportation, the Home has various recreational facilities, such as library, lounge, croquet court, gymnasia and kara-Okey equipments, and holds recreational activities periodically. Moreover, the Kaohsiung Senior Citizen School also has a branch at music, Taichi Chuan, Chuan, gardening, folk dance, sweater knitting and fifteen clubs.
